Matt’s mission is simple: to think outside the box when solving your most pressing financial concerns by utilizing his vast array of resources to help you attain your personal vision of success.
When he graduated from college in 2008 during the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, Matt saw first-hand people losing both their jobs and retirement savings. This inspired him to pursue a career helping people with their personal finances. This created the foundation of his financial planning practice. Today, Matt prides himself on his ability to help people better protect themselves, personally and financially, so they’re prepared for what’s ahead.
Whether you’re a pharmaceutical executive, a small business owner, retired or soon to be retired, Matt uses experience, technology, compassion, and a defined process to help remove uncertainty from your financial picture. With a commitment to service and support, Matt spends time getting to know you, your family, and your longterm goals. From there, he designs a personalized plan with manageable next steps. At every phase, Matt listens with intent, strives to make you feel comfortable, and explains concepts in a manner that works for you.
Matt follows a streamlined approach when working with new clients:
Step 1: Complimentary initial 20-minute phone call to ensure you are a good fit for one another.
Step 2: One-hour discovery meeting to do a deep dive into your finances.
Step 3: Prepare a proposal, which includes a written plan, costs, and expectations.
Matt graduated from Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. A firm believer in continuing education, Matt earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification (CFP®), which is obtained after a rigorous two-day exam covering the financial planning process, tax planning, employee benefits, retirement planning, insurance, estate planning and wealth management. As a CFP®, Matt has pledged to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence when working with clients.
Matt serves on the board of directors and the membership committee at Thorny Lea Golf Club and is a member at BNI Networking Group.
Outside of the office, you can find Matt playing a round of golf or spending time with his wife, Melissa, and their three daughters, Madison, Savannah, and Brooklyn.
